this morning that killed one person and injured another. this sitting at a last night around 9:00 in the 1000 block of audubon drive. police arrived and found two victims, was announced that the scene, the other was taken to the hospital would not life threatening injuries. so far, no arrests have been made. >> we had a house fire overnight in san jose. as it turns out it was a marijuana grow house at a residential neighborhood. it was on the 500 block of scouts the court and the fire is under control and no injuries have been reported. the fire remains under investigation. >> it is day 7 of a hostage situation involving a five year old boy in midland, alabama. 65-year-old jimmy lee dykes has allowed negotiators to send medicine for the boy, named ethan. other items including coloring books and toys have through a ventilation pipe that leads into the hideout.

the incident began on tuesday when dykes boarded a school bus and demanded two boys. dykes fatally shot the bus driver when he tried to block dykes. who then abducted ethan. former new york mayor ed koch will be honored at his funeral this morning by former president bill clinton. mister clinton is serving as a representative for president obama at the funeral. the israeli consul general and new york mayor michael bloomberg are also set to speak at today's service. new york police department helicopters are expected to fly over the synagogue in honor of koch. the former mayor died friday of congestive heart failure at age 88. president obama says the boy scouts of america should allow gay members. he also said women should be allowed in military combat

roles. the president's comments in an interview on c-b-s before the super bowl come ahead of a meeting of the boy scouts' national executive board this week. a proposal to open up the scouts' membership to gays is expected to be discussed and possibly voted on at the gathering in texas. the white house said in a statement last august that president obama opposed the gay ban. a developing story this morning. at least eight, possibly 10 people are dead following a highway collision involving a tour bus in southern california. this is new video into kron four. the bus driver reported having brake problems as it came down the mountain on state route 38, about 80 miles east of los angeles. rear-ending a sedan then flipping over and hitting a pickup truck that was pulling a trailer. at least 27 other people were injured. the passengers on the bus were part of a tour group from tijuana, mexico >> we'll take a quick break. but first here is coach jim harbaugh talking more about the game yesterday. >> i felt that they battled and competed. we got we are
